Landmarks Carved in Memories

I'm not one to dwell on nostalgia, I'm more interested in what lies ahead than what's in the rearview. Nevertheless, a few standout moments deserve mention. As a BBC Presenter, I got to interview icons like David Chase, the mastermind behind "The Sopranos," a true highpoint for this show's fanatic in me. Equally rewarding was co-creating the Scotty and Motty YouTube channel with my friend Jay Motty. We've overcome our pasts to promote mental health through this venture. In April 2023, a lifelong dream came true with the release of my debut book, "Mancunians: where do we start, where do I begin?" As a poet (also known as ARGH KiD), sharing the stage with Sir Alex Ferguson after singing in the stands for Manchester United was a surreal transition.

From schools to corporations to prisons, I've been leading workshops for almost a decade. Growing up without artistic support, I find immense satisfaction in showing others that the odds can be beaten. Transforming hesitant participants into enthusiastic contributors is incredibly fulfilling. My goal is to inspire individuals to embrace creativity, reframe their view of art, and utilize it to overcome challenges like addiction and mental health issues.
